    Frequently asked questions.

    How far will the vintage/classic cars travel?

    Within a 25 mile radius of Skipton.

    How do I get a quote?

    Please use the contact us page and let us have as many details of your wedding including date, venue and the car(s) you are interested in.  We will then send a quotation by email.

    How long do I book the car(s) for and is there a minimum time you charge for?

    Usually the car(s) and driver will be in attendance three to four hours, that is, from when the car arrives to collect to the time we leave.  We may be able to accommodate shorter hire times, so please contact us with your requirements.

    What does the wedding car service include?

    The service includes one or two chauffeur driven trips from your collection point to the ceremony and a trip to the reception venue.  We can do more trips however these will need to be included in the quote as they may incur an additional charge.

    As standard the car will be dressed in ivory ribbon depending on the colour of the car.

    Will my dress fit in the car?

    The Rolls Royce is extremely spacious and will accommodate all styles of dress.

    I want to book what do I need to do?

    Having picked the car(s) and received our quotation, you want to proceed.  We will send you by email our wedding booking form requesting your contact information, collection address, ceremony time and address where the reception will take place.

    How much notice is required to book my wedding car?

    To avoid disappointment, it is a good idea to book your car once you have booked your venue.

    I’ve booked, what next?

    We will confirm your booking by email and also send an itinerary based on the information you have supplied on the booking form. Please check this carefully and once happy, a 30% non-refundable reservation deposit is due within seven days of receiving confirmation of your booking.  The balance is due at any time not later than 30 days before your wedding.

    My plans have changed, how do I inform you?

    All amendments to the booking must be done in writing /email.

    When will the driver arrive to collect me?

    We will plan to arrive to the first collection point fifteen minutes prior to the departure time on the itinerary.   If you are worried this isn’t enough time due to traffic problems in your local area, we can allow extra time, which may incur further cost, unless we reduce the time at the end of the itinerary.

    Does the car come with an umbrella?

    Yes, our cars carry at least one umbrella for your use.  We are there to help and the chauffeur will hold the umbrella for you if required.

    When will the wedding car leave us?

    The car and chauffeur have been hired for a set amount of time, as detailed on the itinerary.  You will have around fifteen minutes with the car once you arrive at the reception venue and we ask that you request your photographer prioritises photos of you and the car within that timescale.

    I’m worried the car isn’t going to turn up, what happens if there is an emergency?

    It is very rare that things go wrong, however, in such an event, we would always inform you of anything which will affect your itinerary. If the car you have booked runs in to difficulty we may send you an alternative car, as like for like as possible, as per our terms and conditions.
